Tyler’s journey into recruiting started in 2019 after he transitioned from a tour in the Middle East with the United States Marine Corps. While he didn’t have any previous background in recruiting, his communication skills and attention to detail were a perfect fit for starting a recruiting career. As a recruiter for Turn2Partners, Tyler finds that the most rewarding aspect of the job is being able to help people. With his strong problem solving skills, and a knowledge of the D.C. area finance and accounting landscape, he enjoys the challenge of finding each hiring manager their dream candidate, and each candidate their perfect job match. One placement that stands out in recent years was when Tyler worked with a single mother of two from Wisconsin, who had just moved to the Washington, D.C. area. She had been out of a job for two months, and with two young children was feeling the strain, but didn’t want to jump into a position that didn’t fit. Tyler worked with her, and helped her find and get hired into a position within 24 hours. That’s efficiency.
Recruiting The Right Way

We all hang out, and there is never a day I don’t want to go to work,” Tyler said. When Tyler isn’t working hard for a client or candidate, or keeping himself educated on the state of accounting and finance in Washington, D.C., you can find him working out, playing golf, or coaching little league football. He is passionate about giving back to the community, and loves working with kids and helping to shape the next generation of community members and leaders. “The lion does not concern himself with the thoughts of sheep,” is Tyler’s mantra.
